  • Torque Coffee, founded by Nanelle & Andy Newbom, brings over 21 years of extensive experience in every facet of the coffee industry. From baristas to brokers, they have immersed themselves in the world of coffee, emphasizing the importance of human connection and referring to themselves as "People People." Their passion for coffee is matched only by their love for the community they call "coffee people." With a clear mission to provide coffee that's easy to love, Torque Coffee emphasizes sweetness, clarity, and balance in their roasts. They are also committed to equitable pricing, aiming to break the traditional supply chain by giving 20% of the retail price directly to the producer, thus fostering a transparent and value-driven relationship between consumer, roaster, and grower.

  • The Villa Betulia Caturron, produced by renowned second-generation coffee farmer Luis Anibal Calderon in Colombia's Huila region, offers a distinct flavor profile with opening notes of honeydew melon and grape candy, transitioning into a tropical fruit finish. This coffee, unique to Colombia and challenging to grow, represents Luis's dedication to experimentation and innovation, having developed and shared at least four recognized different varieties through years of careful observation and "research." The Caturron variety, named for its distinctive taste and resemblance to a Giant Caturra, has become Luis's primary coffee due to its resistance to leaf rust, high yield, and quality flavor characteristics. With a sensation akin to enjoying fresh fruit smoothies atop a tropical mountain, this coffee provides a luxurious experience and holds an SCA Quality Score of 88.50.

With backgrounds in non-profit work, the couple launched their first café in downtown Auburn, AL, and quickly expanded into wholesale coffee roasting. Prevail Coffee Roasters emphasizes high-quality products produced with care, creativity, and respect for land and labor, partnering globally to craft carefully roasted coffees. Driven by core values of quality, community, and transparency, Prevail strives to be a catalyst for passion-driven communities, building authentic bonds through transparency in supply chains, customer interactions, and community outreach.

  • Colombia San Roque coffee is a honey-processed Sarchimor variety produced by Marco & Maricela Oviedo at Finca Sircof, renowned for their relentless pursuit of quality. With tasting notes of pomegranate, blackberry, and red wine, this high-altitude coffee benefits from the gentle weather of Costa Rica's Central Valley and sustainable farming practices that coexist with the surrounding protected forest areas. The Oviedo family, nearly a decade ago, risked their savings to build a micro mill, giving them control over processing and production, leading to some of the best coffee lots in the region. Their partnership with Farmers Project Costa Rica and roasters like Prevail has helped build sustainable direct trade relationships, enhancing the quality and reputation of their coffee.

  • This coffee, made exclusively from the Caturra variety, is cultivated by Luis Guzman on his family farm, El Diviso, located at 1700 meters above sea level in the mountains of Guadalupe, Huila. The harvest process involves a meticulous three-day picking period, followed by an 18-24 hour period in full cherry and an 80-hour anaerobic fermentation, culminating in a thorough wash and drying on raised beds. Luis's dedication to the craft, a passion inherited from his parents, has led him to spend the last 15 years focusing on specialty coffee production.
